WINGS 5 HAWKS 2
Russian import sub Niecalek with the trick for the Wings. Scoring machine Chuck Mouranie with a 2 & 3 game. Goaler Mike Schlimgen with a solid effort in nets. Steve Orr and Rob “The Rifleman” Duncan score for the Hawks.

HABS 5 BRUINS 2
“Tab” Hunter with the tour du chapeau for the Frenchmen. Quebec product LeMiux and Cam “Steamboat” Lawrence with singles. Kenny Wilkins and Jeff Tracy with three helpers apiece. Rounding into form after a season opening DL stint – Bobby Watson with the deuce for the Bruins.

STARS 5 LEAFS 4
Up and down hockey in this thriller. Deuces wild for Ronnie Meltsner and sub Matt Lawson. Rushing defenseman Mike Charison also with a goal. Eddie Higgins with the hat trick assist. Leafs – Dave Wargo(2), Keith Foucher and Bruce “Cooler Man” Gooel.

HABS 2 HAWKS 1
Habs sweep for the day and the Hawks go in the other direction as they drop a deuce. Down 1-0, the Habs score twice in the final stanza for the W. Once again – Jeff “Dick” Tracy and LeMiux score for the Habs. Jimmy George with the lone Hawks marker. Both goalies Sir Kevin Beebe and Hawks sub Stopper, were stellar between the pipes!

WINGS 6 STARS 3
The top spot Wings fill the net as in game one, as they take a deuce today! Scoring his first hat trick since the Nixon administration – sub Kevin Mahon was captured explaining to anyone who would listen, on the finer points of goal scoring! Chuck Mouraine with another two goal game. Marty Sell with a single. Mark Smyth, and subs “Motor City” Eddie Kowalczyk and Matt Lawson tally for the Stars in this penalty free contest.

BRUINS 6 LEAFS 3
Bob “Bugsy” Watson was all over the ice, as he records the hat trick! Singles for Barry Piornack, Joe Plati and Adam Godard. Bruins sub goaltender Rick “Ticker” Chauvin with his first multipoint game since Sunday January 19, 1975, when he played left wing in the checking Fraser league, with two helpers. Two top shelf goals for Keith Foucher and Bruce Gooel with a single for the low cellar dweller Leafs.
