Deuces wild for Steve “Mario” Lemieux and Steve Orr as the Habs upend the top spot Flyers!  John Perini with the Habs initial goal.  The Killer Bees – Billy Hagen, Ben Haynes and Bob Halbhuber score for the Flyers.
HAWKS   5    BRUINS   0
Mike Mostyn and the Hawks shutout the Bruins.  Al Pyc with a two goal game for the Hawks,  Singles for Pat Collins, Pete Gibb and from parts unknown – sub Bob “Bugsy” Watson.  No Bruins highlights in this penalty free game.
WINGS   4    SHARKS   4
Ronnie Meltsner with the trick for the Sharks.  Line-mate Gary Szylanski with assists’s on all three goals.  Captain Steve “Barney Miller” Dietrich with the Sharks final marker.  Wings sub Chris Isola factors in on all their goals with a 2 & 2 game.  Mark Smyth and John “Hal” McRae with singles.

In a foul mood after losing game one – Captain Howard Smith does his best Bobby Orr impersonation and goes end to end scoring just 21 ticks into the game!  Keith Foucher, Chuck Mouraine and Bob Halbhuber also score for the Flyers.  Jimmy George and the Honorable Al Phipps tally for the Fish.
HABS   3    BRUINS   1
Speedster Steve Lemieux once again scores twice for the Habs, as they sweep for the day!  John Perini with the game winner.  Goal-keep Sir Kevin Beebe was solid between the pipes!  Rick Batchelder was the only Bruin to solve Sir Kevin.
49 years ago the Boston Bruins defeated the St. Louis Blues in the Stanley Cup Finals on the famous Bobby Orr goal!
Who passed that puck to Bobby from behind the net?
