I always say good goalies make a good league, as evidenced by the third 1-1 tie game of the night! Led all season by the herculean efforts of Habs goalie Dave Gaskey, who sported an amazing 1.28 goals against this season and Bruins master puck stopper Mike Schlimgen, each steal the show this game! Another 1-1 tie today for the Bruins! Way to hold them in there Mike! Eddie Higgins scores for the men in yellow, who end up in second place in the first half standings. The league’s goal scoring leader Sammy Bonnano with the first place Habs goal.

No more defense tonight – Lol! Both goalies were seen postgame wandering the Walgreens aisles looking for the out of season product Solarcaine! Doug “Jeff” Beck and “Black” Jack Priauix with two goal games for the Wings. Singles for Jimmy George and sub Matt Linnell. Penalty minute leader Brian Belloli with the hat trick assist. Deuces wild for Robert Stempian and power winger Jeff Morton of the Hawks. Billy Hagen(Also 4 Helpers) and sub Bouzide with singles. The Hawks end the first half season on a six game winless streak. The cellar dweller Wings with their second tie of the day, have played close games all season, just ended up on the wrong end of the score more times than not!
