FOUND AFTER CLEANING OUT MY PARENTS HOUSE.

Sharks take a 3-0 early lead on the Wings, only to see the Wings fight back to tie it up 3-3! Then – as a General does – Robert E. Lee leads his troops with a two goal game and a great cross crease pass to Bruce Gooel for the late game winning goal! Lee’s first goal was a thing of beauty, as he blew by the Wings defenseman and then went backhand top shelf in very close quarters! Line-mate Al Sparks also with a goal. Jimmy George scores twice for the Wings and Mark Smyth with their middle marker.
HABS 1 FLYERS 0
Gentleman Don Courtley scores the only goal of the game, as the Habs win a nail biter! Winning goalie Dave Gaskey and Mike Haines of the Flyers shined in nets! Habs winger Mike Ala returned from his rather lengthy stint on the DL, to assist on the Habs goal.
BRUINS 4 HAWKS 0
Getting better with age – Bruins goalie Mike Schlimgen blanks the Hawks! Winger Mike Harke with the deuce. Singles for Joe Plati and Eddie Higgins. This was a penalty free game. No Hawks sightings.
HAWKS 5 WINGS 4
Dejavu for the Wings as they go down 3 zip again, only to see them come back and tie the game up at fours. You can’t leave this guy alone – Hawks sub Mike Garlick absolutley buries an in and out top shelf laser, on a pinpoint pass from Bruce Buntin for his second goal of the game and the game winning late goal! Billy Hagen also with the deuce. Right defenseman Bruce Buntin scores on a mad solo 1 on 4 dash and goes five hole! Mark Smyth and Jimmy George both score twice for the hard working snakebitten Wings, who deserved better today, as they drop a deuce. This was a penalty free game.
HABS 0 BRUINS 0
The very rare 0-0 game, as both goalies achieve an extreme rarity and very well a Sting record today, as they both record double shutouts! Hats off to Dave Gaskey and Mike Schlimgen who absolutely were unbeatable today! Another penalty free game.
FLYERS 3 SHARKS 2
Reverting back to the days of his youth(See Picture Below), Ryan O’Rourke scores twice for his Flyers this game! Chuck Mouraine with a 1 & 2 game. Goalie Mike Haines was once again sharp in nets. Al Sparks and Todd Schurman score for the Fish.
Four NHL players have double digit 40 goal seasons.
