Hawks sub “Magnum” Higgins was everywhere on the ice, with a two goal game and a solo roughing minor penalty to boot! Mark Smyth, Mike Ala, Al Sparks and Pat Collins also with Hawks goals. Sub puck stopper Rick “Ticker” Chauvin with a very light workload. Scoring machine James George was the only Bruin to solve “Ticker”.
HABS 4 FLYERS 4
The Habs score two late final period goals to steal a point from the Flyers. Never taking a shot he didn’t’t like – Joe Plati, “Gentleman” Don Courtley and subs Paulie “Knuckles” Polizzi and “Wayne” Gross tally for the Frenchmen. Sting rookie Robert E. Lee(2), Brian Belloli and Bruce “Cooler Man” Gooel(Also 3 Helpers) were the Flyers marksman in this penalty free game.

Another tie, as the woebegone Sharks pick up their first point of the year! Marty Sell with a two goal game for the Fish. Steve “Barney Miller” Dietrich with the Sharks initial marker. Wings – Billy Hagen, Keith Foucher(Top Shelf) and Paulie “Jay” Giles. Sharks net-minder Mike Allemon picks up an interference minor penalty to fire his team up!
WINGS 4 HAWKS 1
The Wings send a message to the Hawks, as they play a great dominating game! Billy Hagen with the deuce. Singles for Paulie Giles and sniper Ronnie Meltsner. Goaler Mike Schlimgen was outstanding between the pipes! Al Sparks with the Hawks lone goal.
HABS 6 BRUINS 4
The Frenchmen were flying in this game led by their charismatic top pick Jeff Ivory, who produced two goals in the game. Singles for Cam “Steamboat” Lawrence, Don Courtley and subs Paulie Polizzi and “Scowling” Scott Leslie. Bruins high flying speedster sub Steve “Mario” Lemieux(2), Scott Shurin and James George were the Bruins marksman in this penalty free game. Adam Godard with a three helper game.

There’s something brewing here, as the Sharks pick up their first win and three points on the day! The Sharks spread out the scoring, as Steve Dietrich, Ben Haynes, David Walters, Marty Sell and sub Gary Szylanski all light the lamp. Deuces wild for Flyers Brian Belloi and John Zuccarini.
