The Flyers prevail over the hard working Wings.  Sammy Bonanno, Ryan O’Rourke, Stevie Lambert and sub Mike Harke with an empty netter score for the Flyers.  Dave Herkowitz and sub Mike Garlick both with far boards bad angle goals for the Wings.  Matching lines like Scotty Bowman – Paul Giles behind the bench of the Wings.  This was a penalty free game.

The Bruins lose their original goalie Bruno Tadolini for the season.  “Saw enough rubber in my lifetime” the old master said.  “Time to hang up those pads!”  The Bruins don’t miss a beat as sub Rick “Ticker” Chauvin spins the well earned whitewash!  Rob “Hurricane” Halbhuber and the ageless Joe Plati tally for the men in yellow.

Jeff “Dick” Tracy tommy guns in his second goal of the game, with the goalie pulled and just a minute left in the game for the tie!  Captain Billy Hagen also with a two goal game.  Bruce Buntin also with a goal.  The Hawks pick up their first point of the year and almost double their season goal output!  Ever dangerous from the right point – Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins scores twice for the Habs.  Singles for Curt Bailey, Pat Collins and Mike Ala in this penalty free game.

Oh Boy!  Al Pyc scores the game tying goal with the goalie pulled with just under a minute left in the contest!  The Flyers remain undefeated in the season as the Bruins are the only team they have not defeated, resulting in two ties between the teams.  Curt Lesnau with the Flyers first tally.  Flyers goalie Brian Miller makes a highlight reel save with seconds left in the game, on a high slot shot that somehow Miller got his blocker on it and stopped the puck from going top shelf!  The first line of the Bruins do their damage as Ronnie Meltsner and Rob Halbhuber score and Bobby Watson pitches in with two helpers.

The second place Wings right the ship this game as sub Mike Garlick scores twice.  Singles for Ken Debus, Steve Orr and Dave Herkowitz.  Curt Bailey and Brian Belloli tally for the Frenchmen.

Da Sharks keep the Hawks winless on the season as Bruce “The Enabler” Gooel and sub Dougie Roehl both score twice.  Big Ben Haynes with a single.  Mike Schlimgen with a strong game in nets.  Billy Hagen and Bruce Buntin with the Hawks goals in this penalty free game.
