AFTER SIX GAMES OF PLAY – WE HAVE FOUR TEAMS TIED FOR FIRST!

FLYERS   4     SHARKS   2

Center Steve Orr scores the Flyers final two goals as they defeat the Fish.  Chuck Mouraine and Paul Polizzi with singles.  Pat Berry with three helpers.  Goaler Mike Haines was sharp in nets.  Todd Schurman and Rob Lee tally for the Sharks.  

WINGS   3     HAWKS   0

Superman(See Picture Below) adds to his burgeoning career shutout total with several highlight reel saves!  Mark Smyth, Doug Beck and Jimmy George do the honors for the Wings.  No Hawks sightings this game.

HABS   4      BRUINS   0

Desperate for their first win of the season – Captain Kenny Wilkins pulls out all the stops today, as he enlists good luck charm, puck bunny Sophia(See Picture Below) to attend this game!  It worked!  Goalie Dave Gaskey with the well earned whitewash!  Jim Chapie scores twice in his second consecutive game.  Kenny Wilkins and Mike Ala with singles.  Winger Robbie Porter with the tour du chapeau assist.     

HABS   3     HAWKS   3

Hawks power winger Jeff Morton ties the game up with just over two minutes remaining in the contest for the tie!  Hawks sub Glenn Boyce with their first two goals.  Continuing his hot goal scoring streak – the Habs Jim Chapie scores his sixth goal in his past four games!  Mike Ala and Timmy “Dutch” Schultz also score for the Habs.  

SHARKS   3    BRUINS   1

The Sharks enter the final period up 3-0 and record their first W of the year!  Goalie Brian Miller said enough is enough for this proud franchise and personally ensures a Sharks victory with several stunning saves!  Dougie Roehl scores the Bruins only goal of the day.  

FLYERS    2    WINGS   1  

As in game one – Steve Orr and Paul Polizzi score for the Flyers as they now extend their win streak to three!  Goalie Mike Haines was the difference in this game as he had the Wings shaking their heads multiple times!  With the goalie pulled – Randy Dunaj scores the lone Wings goal.  No trips to the sin bin for either squad.
