SHARKS  4     BRUINS   3

Mike “Crazy Like a  Fox” scores the game winning goal early in the final period for the Sharks.  Doug Beck, Sam Bonanno and Jerry Krause also with goals.  Joe Plati and subs Bob Watson and Mark “Jeff – ELO” Lynn score for the Bruins in this penalty free game.

FLYERS   2     WINGS   1

Power play specialist Ronnie Meltsner scores the eventual game winning goal for the Flyers.  Steve Orr with their initial goal.  Puck stopper Mike Haines was exceptional between the pipes!  Rushing defenseman Dave Debrinact with the Wings lone marker.  Think about this!  John Perini(Age 70) and Kenny Scheffler(Age 75) totaling 145 years young, assisting on Dave’s goal!  Todd Schurman( 2 Minute Roughing Minor) of the Wings and feisty defenseman Kevin Maguire(4 Minute Roughing Minor) of the Flyers leave the ice in tandem. HAWKS   3    HABS   1

Pat “Crazy Legs” Berry scores the Hawks first two goals.  Sub Clarke with the Hawks final goal.  Longtime goaltender Bobby Rutkoske was sharp in nets!  Scoring on a mad solo rush – sub Kenny Debus with the Habs goal.  Captains Billy Hagen and Kenny Wilkins both take turns interfering with each other and hit the box together.

WINGS   6    HABS   2

Five final period goals lead the Wings to the decisive W!  Dave Debrincat with the deuce.  Singles for Brian Belloli, Jimmy George, Dave Speiss and Todd Schurman.  Kenny Wilkins and sub Ken Debus score for the Habs who drop a deuce today.

FLYERS   4     BRUINS   4

The Bruins finally muster up some offense, only to see the game end in a stalemate.  Jimmy Klimkowski, Steve Lemieux, Rick “Cheap Trick” Nelson and sub Bobby Watson tally for the Bruins, who are 0-4-3 in their past seven games.  Making a career revival of sorts – sniper Ronnie Melstner scores twice for the Flyers.  Adam Godard and sub Paul Vioalssi with singles.

SHARKS   3    HAWKS   1

The Sharks sweep their second consecutive doubleheader behind the two goal effort of shifty center Sammy “The Bull’ Bonanno.  Steve “Barney Miller” Dietrich with the Sharks first goal.  Superman with an excellent game in nets!  The Sharks feasted on shrimp postgame, due to Superman’s shutout of last week.  Last season’s Championship game MVP(See Picture Below) Kenny Perko with his eighth goal of the campaign for the Hawks, who split on the day.
